Indian Head Massage is a holistic massage and marma point therapy that has traditional roots based in Indian culture and Ayurvedic practises for over 3,000 years. This form of massage specifically focuses on the face, head, neck, shoulders and arms— which are important energy centres where tension often accumulates. This may result in stiff muscles and/or joints, contributing to issues like headaches or migraines.

This 45 min long treatment combines physical massage with a subtle form of energy balancing. Using the Ayurvedic element of marma energy balancing, this massage focuses on the three higher chakras. This has a powerful effect and can bring the energy of the whole body back into balance creating a deep sense of calm, relaxation and wellbeing.

A gently heated oil is used on the head (including the hair) and other treatment areas. Please book your treatment with the expectation that you will have oil in your hair upon leaving— so you may not want to return to work, do your weekly shop, etc. afterward.
